Cape Cod Baseball League

For over 40 years, the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) has been a summer tradition for Cape Codders and visitors alike. The level of play is often considered the equivalent of high-A Minor League Baseball and draws the top collegiate players. It's a chance to see our future stars up close and personal in a small town setting. Some alumni include: Jason Varitek, Jacoby Ellsbury, Carlos Pena, Jason Bay, Tim Linecun, Mark Texeira, Nomar Garciaparra, Barry Zito, and the list goes on. It actually goes on to include over 800 names. The Cape Cod Baseball League website states that 1 in 7 of all MLB players (1244) played in the CCBL and 1 of 3 MLB players who played in college (515) played in the CCBL.
